In this episode I discuss the great Locke centric episode. We get yet another hint at why Charlotte is alive and well on the podcast, perhaps a set up for something to come? The Finer things club is in full force with two special guests. In the grinds my gears segment I give my impressions on Lockes convenient resurrection. Thanks for all the Itunes reviews guys and remember to send all emails to lost@donaldislot.com or send me a voicemail at 206-984-1289.

  1. Love the picture of Locke in the sunglasses. What’s with the yellow shirt, did he join Sayid’s school-building team?

Oh my God what can I say?! That was amazing! I dont know where we are going with the stuff on th3e island but its getting crazy! Whats with the no week off that everyone has been talking about? All I see is next wednesday on lost. Dont get me wrong I am not complaining, just thought we has a week off I guess we dont have. Alright looking forward to the podcast. Stay safe Donald. T.

  3. Jessica Jones says:

Great show. The middle was just fan stuff we already knew but the rest was excellent and it was great to see Walt again, now he is psychic!

  4. Mikhail says:

Great Episode, Seeing Locke back in the wheelchair was sad, but he had to come full circle.

  5. SP says:

I didn’t really like this episode, but it might be because I made the mistake of watching the trailer last week and it spoiled this episode completely. It felt like there was nothing new in this episode, except for the part where Ben killed Locke.
Also those visits Locke made felt kind of boring since we already knew they occured and there wasn’t anything surprising about what was said.
So, I propably would have enjoyed this episode a lot more had I not watched the trailer. I’ll never watch them again. :(

  6. Donald says:

Yeah SP I did the same thing. No more trailers for me.

  7. Denise says:

I’ve stopped watching even the “Next week on Lost” promos at the end of the episodes and I was very happy with the episode because I had no idea what was coming. I thought it was a great episode. I’m going to rewatch it here in a few because it made my head spin last night!

Who do you think Lapidus took off with when he took the canoe? I’ve heard people speculating that it’s Sun, but I don’t know what to think.

  8. Donald says:

I believe it was Sun. She wanted to find Jin, she wasn’t going to sit on a beach and eat mangoes!

  9. sprspndx says:

    hmmm….mangoes…yum

  10. Brian says:

I loved, loved, loved this episode!

I just watch last week’s promo for this episode and it was awful. What’s going on at the ABC promo department? I hope they know the point of a promo isn’t to summarize the upcoming episode in 15 seconds.

Anyway… I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the episode, Donald.

  11. Wadhah says:

That was really nice, that stuff with Ben and Lock at the end is the best scene in the show !!
I’m starting to hate Kate. Here’s my theorie about Lock and the war,I really think he is a looser, and I think that Widmore wants Lock in the wrong side so that he will lose ! Hope you understand it !
and By the way,the guys in Tunisia weren’t Tunisians ! They were some what Algerians or marocos, but the licence plate of car were Tunisian !

  12. charlottestapleslewis says:

Great episode I just heard the advanced release. The finer things club is the best part!

  13. Randall Flagg says:

i loved the episode because it was Locke-centric. Also, as soon as Widmore (and Abaddon) was brought in as a player, and said the word, “war”, it made the show have some actual meaning again towards the endgame. Lets face it, most of us watch TV for conflict and conflict resolution because its dramatic whether we like those things in real life or not. no one wants to watch people get tricked onto planes and find out where baby’s went for 7 weeks with no end in sight. you can watch a decade of Jerry Springer for that.

It seems like this might be setting up to see a younger Widmore get tricked off the island in the DHARMA time line? or maybe the Losties create a paradox and prevent the purge? it seems like that has to be tied into what Pierre Chang brought up in the comic-con video. Im still convinced the bomb is part of the endgame, for those familiar with The Stand… it has a slight parallel.

  14. donaldislost says:

I agree Randall I got a tingle down my spine when Widmore said a war is coming.
