Episode 91 Donald and Jed are Lost “Recon”

The episode was OK. It was awesome to see the hot Charlotte and cool to see Liam. Is it me, or are all the women in the flash-sideways hotter, Alex last episode and Charlotte this episode. More questions, no answers. It was good to see Claire attack Kate. So far, they’ve given us a lot of MIB’s side, I want more of Jacob’s side. At the rate this season’s going, it looks like there will not be a lot of questions answered.
They are always hotter! I was really hoping Kate would get throat sliced! lol, guess not. A lot more questions and NO answers, some mother issues this time instead of daddy issues though.
Loved how Sayid just sat there watching Claire attack Kate.
So Sawyer apprehends Kate in the alt timeline. More alt timeline stuff on the horizon then. *Feels sorry for Donald*
Sawyer on top form on the island. Negotiated a way off the island from both sides. He can’t lose…..although piloting/navigating a sub can’t be any easier than piloting a plane.
The dress Sawyer held in the cages was worn by Kate but I assume belonged to Juliet. I hope that’s why he gripped it tightly and not because of any lingering feelings for Kate.
This episode was decent(3. That was pleasing to me).
Miles is an awsome cop. The fact that they are poice officers makes me wonder about ana lucia.
Widmore seems only to be working for himself. Seems to be the case with Sawyer as well..
Sawyer’s line ” God aint got nothin’ to do with it”, I’m convinced this isnt just a throw away line.
“Candidate” is starting to seem more and more like “Highlander”, can’t die until a chosen person kills them. There can be only one. etc.

So Sawyer is indeed a cop, but wouldn’t stop a person in an airport wearing handcuffs? Also, those are some hard up cops waitng outside a motel room door and listening while Sawyer does his “undercover” work lol.

I thought this episode was OK….a little bit better than What Kate Does!
Sawyer kinda played his hand too soon with Widmore, he didn’t find out anything about how and why he was there. FLocke and Widmore could be on the same side as far as he knows….who is ‘conning’ who!
I actually like Kate, although she is irratatiing with her non-commital way, she has big time Mommie issues and an abusive Daddy too.
I will be glad when the on-island Losties can come together and realize they are ALL pawns and they can tell both sides to ‘Cluck Off’!
I thought that MIB’s story about having a crazy mother was taken from Locke’s own story; his mother was crazy later in life and even spent some time in Santa Rosa Institute, the same place that Hurley went to. Anthony Cooper was able to use Locke’s mother to get to Locke and that led to the whole “stolen kidney” affair, which definitely left Locke with some issues. When MIB said that this happened to him “before I looked like this” I thought he was stretching the truth, because in Locke’s life, he met his mother when he was younger and still had hair (when he was working in the toy store, demonstrating the “Mousetrap” game). So I took it as MIB knowing how to choose his words carefully to be telling the truth but not telling the whole story, to make Locke’s story sound like his own. Also, MIB always has these “heart-to-heart” talks with people when he’s alone with them, and that seems very suspicious to me.
Donald, I’ve been wondering about something about Miles in the Parallel Alternate Timeflash to the Side Universe Thingermajig… does Miles still talk to the dead? If not, and we assume that this isn’t Jacob or MiB influenced, can we assume that in the Real Timeline that Miles got his powers from Jacob or MiB or the “Island’s Unique Electromagnetic Properties” or something else?
I haven’t heard anyone else talk about this at all yet.
Blah, I don’t mean talk to the dead, but scan or whatever you want to call it.

Hey, a not so great episode of Lost is still way better than most everything else.
I really liked the Sawyer and Miles story, and the Sawyer on-island stuff even more. Josh Holloway is really doing a great job!
However, I am becoming more and more aggravated about where this story is going.
Now I understand why Donald was so strongly against this happening. I originally had mixed feelings about a reset or whatever, but only cause I thought it would mostly be some sort of teaser and would not last very long.
At this rate, these two storylines could continue right up until the end.
Did everybody hear Miles mention his Dad working at the museum?

Another crackpot theory:
When FLock/MIB was talking to Kate he was saying that he is really Aaron and his mother is really Claire.
BTW: Stay with Dexter, it’s a great show and Michael Hall is a great actor.
